1960's Seminole Red Patchwork Dress
This one is a really special garment, a Seminole patchwork dress, likely from the 1960s.
Seminole patchwork garments are often trimmed with a rickrack border, and seem to date back to as early as the late 1800s. This dress has the option to be worn off the shoulder or on, and would look amazing belted. I’ve also included some historical images of Seminole Indians with the stunningly intricate patchwork outfits.
Measurements are taken while flat, and have been doubled.
Top to Bottom: 44 inches
Armpit to Armpit: 40 inches (this is with the neckline ribbon loose, and can be tightened)
Waist: 34 inches
